The club was founded in 1919 after its predecessor AFC Aalsmeer was dissolved. In 1923, VV Aalsmeer joined the Amsterdam Football Association and began playing in the Third Class. VV Aalsmeer finished third that season and was able to be promoted directly to the Second Class. In 2014, VV Aalsmeer merged with Jong Aalsmeer United and RKAV to become FC Aalsmeer. The first men's team played in the last season in the First Class B of Saturday West II. They finished fourteenth and last. As a result, the Saturday team of FC Aalsmeer will compete in the Second Class in the 2014/15 season.
