La Casa Padellàs és un palau privat d'estil gòtic tardà, amb alguns elements renaixentistes en l'ornamentació de portes i finestres, construït originalment al número 25 del carrer Mercaders de Barcelona. A causa de l'obertura de la Via Laietana, que posava en risc la seva conservació, l'any 1931 va ser desmuntat, traslladat i reconstruït a la Plaça del Rei, al Barri Gòtic de Barcelona. Des del 1943 és la seu del Museu d'Història de Barcelona. Està catalogat des de 1962 com a bé cultural d'interès nacional. La seva qualificació urbanística és 7a.
