We deliberately start the hike on the north side at the parking lot on Budelse Baan, so that we arrive at Achelse Kluis a little after halfway through the route to take a short break there. The route leads through a forest and heath landscape. Especially in August and September, when the heather is in bloom, it is beautiful here.
