Comenzamos la caminata intencionadamente en el lado norte en el aparcamiento de la Budelse Baan para llegar algo más de la mitad del recorrido a la Achelse Kluis y allí descansar un poco.
La ruta pasa por un paisaje de bosque y brezo. Especialmente en agosto y septiembre, cuando el brezo está en flor, es hermosísimo aquí.
