Podrías llamarlo literalmente una torre de agua. Porque eso es lo que se convirtió esta torre de la iglesia del siglo XIV de Graun como resultado de la presa que se construyó aquí entre 1948 y 1950. Como resultado, el pueblo original de Graun y gran parte de Reschen fueron inundados. Se demolieron 163 casas y se inundaron 523 hectáreas de terreno. Hoy, la torre de la iglesia de Alt-Graun, el antiguo centro del pueblo de Graun, que asoma por encima de la superficie, es un recordatorio del antiguo pueblo.
