Una vez se erigió aquí un templo hindú que data del mismo período de Mueang Si Mahosot (siglos V-XI). Hoy en día, se encuentra el Monumento de la Escritura Real, que conserva la escritura del Rey Rama V (Rey Chulalongkorn) en una losa de piedra de laterita, parte de la base de laterita del antiguo templo cuando visitó Prachin Buri en 1908.
