La centrale de cogénération Freimann est une centrale de cogénération exploitée par Stadtwerke München dans le quartier munichois de Schwabing-Freimann. Il est en fait situé dans le district de Schwabing. Néanmoins, la centrale a été nommée d’après le quartier Freimann, auquel la propriété a été attribuée des décennies avant sa construction.
Entre 1974 et 2015, deux turbines à gaz ont été utilisées pour produire de l’énergie électrique et de la chaleur, en utilisant le gaz naturel comme combustible. La centrale de cogénération a généré une capacité maximale de chauffage urbain de 400 MW, la production électrique était de 160 MW. Le raccordement au réseau au niveau haute tension de 110 kV s’effectue au réseau électrique du gestionnaire de réseau de distribution SWM Infrastruktur.
