Hill 62 is een heuvel in de omgeving van Ieper. ‘62’ wijst erop dat de heuvel 62 meter boven de zeespiegel ligt. Hill 62 of Höhe 62 kwam in 1916 in Duitse handen tot Canadese troepen de heuvel veroveren. De Canadezen leden tijdens deze verovering grote verliezen. Het monument op de top herdenkt de gesneuvelde Canadese soldaten. Vanop Hill 62 heb je een prachtig zicht op de torens van Ieper en merk je meteen het strategisch belang van een hoogte tijdens WO I.
