In het Anna-Katharinenstift Karthaus wonen ongeveer 350 volwassen mensen met verschillende handicaps, die vanwege hun bijzondere levensvorm individuele begeleiding en ondersteuning nodig hebben. We stimuleren de mensen in elk levensgebied om ieder individu maatschappelijke participatie mogelijk te maken. Tegelijkertijd bieden we 40 plaatsen in de zorginstelling Huis Jakob en begeleiden we 110 cliënten via het aanbod van ambulant wonen. Een belangrijk onderdeel van ons woonaanbod is de deelname aan het arbeidsleven. In totaal vinden meer dan 550 mensen met een handicap regelmatige arbeid via de werkplaatsen Karthaus.
