Diese Kapelle stellt den Moment dar, in dem Jesus mit den zwölf Aposteln Ostern feiert und die Eucharistie einsetzt. Dies ist ein entscheidender Moment im christlichen Glauben, da Jesus hier sein Leiden verkündet und Brot und Wein als seinen Leib und sein Blut teilt.
Es ist die erste der vierzehn Kapellen der Via Crucis des Escadório do Bom Jesus in Braga.
