The former Dominican monastery is a complex of two buildings from the 17th century and consists of a chapel and a residential building .
The oldest is the chapel dedicated to Notre-Dame de Montaigu of Zichem , which is now disused and whose date of 1607 can be found on a set of bricks on the facade. It was built in brick and limestone by order of Duke Charles de Croy and has a rectangular plan with a gable roof. The aedicula rises from a limestone base and contains an arched entrance door with a turned archivolt and a mute shield in relief. In a similar style, the bays in the masonry are connected by a stone string line.
Behind the chapel, the residential building is made of limestone and brick. It dates from the second third of the 17th century, but has been rebuilt over the centuries. There are two floors with three bays on a high limestone base, of which only the arched entrance door, a small rectangular checkered bay and the brick relief arches of the old cross bays remain from the 17th century. New bays were added in the 19th century. Slate hipped roof with dormer window.
