Hranice est une ville du district de Přerov, dans la région d'Olomouc, en Tchéquie. Sa population s'élevait à 17 818 habitants en 2021.La ville est située dans la région historique de Moravie au pied des Sudètes. La route à travers la porte de Moravie au nord-est mène vers la Silésie. Hranice se trouve à 24 km au nord-est de Přerov, à 36 km à l'est-sud-est d'Olomouc, à 49 km au sud-ouest d'Ostrava et à 244 km à l'est sud-est de Prague. Elle est arrosée par la rivière Bečva et deux ruisseaux Ludina et Velička qui y débouchent.
