Strijensas is een plaatsje en voormalige gemeente aan het Hollandsch Diep. Strijensas behoort tot de gemeente Hoeksche Waard.
Bestuurlijk gezien viel Striensche Sas eeuwenlang onder De Klundert, de oorsprong hiervan ligt ver voor de 2e Sint Elisabethsvloed van 1421. Voor die tijd vormden Holland en Brabant één aaneengesloten gebied, maar werden door die niets ontziende natuurramp van elkaar gescheiden door het Hollands Diep dat toen ontstond.
