A new building, still made of wood, was rebuilt in 1947 by the team of Professor Raymond Bouillenne, with materials from pavilions abandoned in the Fens by the American army. In 1963, the University of Liège decided to build a new permanent building; The construction work, which began in 1972, was completed in 1975 and the old wooden building was demolished.
