Welcome to our Egmont city. The route starts at the Markt. A visit to the burial vault and Egmont room is recommended (reservation via toerisme@zottegem.be and registration during office hours at our tourist office or the CVS, Markt 1). The walk takes you past the administrative center Sanitary (former company building and one of the oldest concrete structures in Belgium), the chapel of Deinsbeke and the impressive former brewery De Klok. Furthermore, we walk past the castle of Egmont and explore the Beislovenpark, a green resting place near the center. Via the Leirensweg with Leirenhoeve and the Kasteelstraat we come back to the starting place.

In the immediate vicinity there are numerous catering establishments. Near the castle you can park your car for free.
