Aquesta excursió en mountain bike té una distància intermitja i ens porta fins al cim de la muntanya d'Els Angels (també molt popular entre els ciclistes de carretera). Sortint de Girona cap a l'est, pugem ràpidament fins a Torre Gironella, després d’un lleuger descens i, a partir del km 3, anem pujant constantment per pistes forestals i senders que formen part de l'espai natural de les Gavarres. Ocasionalment creuem i seguim breument la carretera asfaltada cap Els Angels. Al cim trobem el santuari amb unes impressionants vistes i un bar-restaurant.
