Die ehemalige Stiftskirche Saint-Barthélemy wurde 1015 geweiht.
Sie ist ein typisch romanisches Gebäude der Stadt Lüttich und umfasst die Reste einer zerstörten außen liegenden Krypta (11. Jh.), einen Chor und ein unteres Querschiff aus dem 12. Jahrhundert sowie die Schiffe und den Westbau (1187 bis 1188).
Die im 18. Jahrhundert neu überdachte und ausgestattete Kirche wurde vollständig renoviert.
Sie enthält eines der wichtigsten Werke des Weltkulturerbes, die so genannten Taufbecken des Heiligen Bartholomäus – Hauptwerke der maasländischen Kunst (12. Jh).
