Das Tank Monument ist ein Kriegerdenkmal am Quai du Gravier mit Blick auf die Ourthe.
Der Panzer ist vom Typ M4A1 Sherman und dieser besondere Panzer erhielt den Spitznamen AMBOY . Der Sherman-Panzer ersetzte 2004 den M46 Patton , der 1990 von der Infanterieschule in Arlon an La Roche gespendet wurde.
Während des Zweiten Weltkriegs wurde La Roche-en-Ardenne während der Ardennenoffensive weitgehend zerstört . 114 Einwohner verloren ihr Leben. Am 11. Januar 1945 wurde La Roche von Briten und Amerikanern befreit.
