Unter dem Markennamen Metz firmieren zwei Unternehmen aus dem Bereich Blitzgeräte, Kunststofftechnik, SMD-Produktion und der Unterhaltungselektronik mit Sitz im fränkischen Zirndorf.
Eigentümer des Firmenareals ist die Metz mecatech GmbH. Die Metz Consumer Electronics GmbH mietet auf dem Gelände diverse Räumlichkeiten. Das ehemalige Familienunternehmen entwickelt, produziert und verkauft hochwertige Produkte der Fotoelektronik und der Kunststofftechnik und Unterhaltungselektronik. Entwicklung und Produktion der Produkte finden in Deutschland statt. Das Unternehmen wurde 1938 von Paul Metz gegründet. Im Jahr 2013 begingen die Metz-Werke auf der IFA das 75-jährige Firmenjubiläum.
