Kongsvinger ist eine Stadt und Kommune in der norwegischen Provinz Innlandet. Die Kleinstadt liegt an der Glomma, Norwegens größtem Fluss. 2004 feierte Kongsvinger das 150-jährige Stadtjubiläum.
Wahrzeichen der Stadt ist die Festung Kongsvinger, deren Bau 1681/82 begann. Sie diente der Verteidigung gegen Schweden. Heute kann sie besichtigt werden.
