Description by the author

In 2011, scientists fired neutrinos from CERN to the Gran Sasso mountain range to measure their speed. They came to the conclusion that the neutrino's surpassed the speed of light (probably incorrect). This route follows almost that path. It is not the fastest path from CERN to Gran Sasso but he nicest path. So take your time. The neutrino's went underground anyway, so it would be hard to follow the same path.
