This is one of the most popular beaches throughout Galicia. During the summer many tourists go to visit. It is also a very extensive beach, is 2.5 kilometers long, more than 3 taking into account the areas adjacent sections BBW and Lapa.
It is surrounded by a beautifully preserved natural environment of dunes belonging to the Natura 2000 network.
This beach also practice sports such as surfing and windsurfing as it has a big swell, since it is not located in any estuary, open ocean.
