Springton Lake Middle School is a middle school in Media, Pennsylvania, with a student population of about 850. It is in the Rose Tree Media School District. Dr. Troy Czukoski, the principal in his first year at Springton Lake, was placed on leave in late 2012 as he was the subject of a federal investigation which amounted to his being charged with one count of possession of child pornography in March 2013. The current (acting) principal, appointed soon after Dr. Czukoski was placed on leave, is Ralph Harrison, who formerly was an assistant principal at Penncrest High School. The current principal for the 2013-14 school year is Dr. Robert Salladino.
