Martín (latín: Martinus) de Tours (Szombathely (Savarien), ca. 316 - Candes, 8 de noviembre de 397), a menudo llamado San Martín, fue obispo de la ciudad de Tours y un importante fundador del cristianismo católico en Gallia Lia . También fue uno de los santos más populares de la Edad Media, ya que siguió llevando una vida sencilla a pesar de su posición destacada. Su fiesta es el 11 de noviembre, día de su funeral.
