El Castillo de Leeds se encuentra a 6,4 km al sureste de Maidstone, condado de Kent, en Inglaterra, se remonta a 1119, aunque una casa señorial estuvo en el mismo sitio en el siglo IX. El castillo y los terrenos se encuentran al este de la localidad de Leeds , en el condado de Kent, que no debe confundirse con la ciudad de Leeds, en West Yorkshire.
Construido en 1119 por Robert de Crevecoeur para reeplazar la casa señorial sajona de Esledes, el castillo se convirtió en palacio real para el rey Eduardo I de Inglaterra y su reina Leonor de Castilla en 1278. Las más importantes mejoras se produjeron durante ese tiempo, incluyendo la barbacana, formada por tres partes, cada una con su propia entrada, puente levadizo, puerta y verja. La torre del homenaje se llama Gloriette, en honor a la reina Leonor.
