El HMS Belfast es un barco museo de la Marina Real Británica anclado permanentemente en los márgenes del Támesis, en Londres, capital del Reino Unido. El buque fue bautizado en homenaje a la ciudad de Belfast, capital de Irlanda del Norte.
En el inicio del conflicto, el Belfast capturó al barco de pasajeros SS Ancona que conducía reservistas de Alemania. Participó de forma activa como barco patrulla de los convoyes del Ártico. Fue uno de los navíos responsables del hundimiento del acorazado Scharnhorst de la Alemania Nazi. Participó también en un combate con el acorazado Tirpitz.
