El estrato Homeriense es el quinto piso del Silúrico de la era Paleozoica. Esta subdivisión es la más reciente del Wenlock y se extiende desde 430.5 ± 0.7 à 427.4 ± 0.5 millones de años. Esta etapa es precedida por el Sheinwoodiense y seguida por el Gorstiense.[1]
La sección y punto de estratotipo de límite global, que define el límite entre Homeriense está situado junto a un pequeño arroyo, afluente del Sheinton a 500 m al norte de la aldea Homer - el nombre de la palabra para referirse al lugar - en el condado Shropshire en el Reino Unido. La base de este piso es la aparición de la Graptolithina Cyrtograptus lundgreni.[2][3]
