Le défilé du carnaval de Louvain a lieu le samedi précédant le mercredi des Cendres. Le défilé existe depuis 1985 et est depuis devenu un événement qui attire également des carnavaliers de bien au-delà des frontières municipales.

Le premier dimanche de juillet, le Teuvenement annuel a lieu à Louvain. Il s’agit d’un événement basé sur le Maastricht Preuvenemint. Nous travaillons avec un « Preuflap », un livret avec dix bons, avec lequel vous pouvez obtenir quelque chose à prouver (goûts) à chacun des dix stands, ceci de dix pays différents ou régions du monde entier.

Chaque dernier week-end d’août ont lieu les fêtes paroissiales, qui ont lieu depuis 1980.
