Juchée sur un promontoire, largement visible depuis les environs, cette église monumentale en brique rouges et pierres bleues date de 1865 et a été, comme beaucoup d’églises à l’époque, construite en styles partiellement néoroman et néogothique.
L’édifice donne une impression de taille imposante. Effectivement, tour, clocher et flèches comprises, il mesure pas moins de 72 mètres de hauteur.
Le bâtiment a été restauré en 2010. A l’intérieur, on remarquera le chemin de croix, l’orgue, l’icône Notre Dame au bois et les vitraux.
