L’abbaye de Saint-Gall est une abbaye bénédictine du VIIe siècle de Saint-Gall en Suisse alémanique qui fut pendant plusieurs siècles avec sa bibliothèque l'un des monastères bénédictins les plus importants d'Europe.
Le monastère est fondé en 613 et nommé en honneur de Gallus, un Irlandais compagnon de saint Colomban de Luxeuil ; Gallus est mort à Saint-Gall en 646.
