Elle fait cohabiter de façon peu harmonieuse les éléments et adjonctions des différentes époques, contrairement à la plupart des autres églises réunissant de divers styles architecturaux. En l'occurrence, les styles roman, gothique primitif et Renaissance sont représentés ; le style flamboyant bien répandu dans la région manque par contre. L'ensemble Renaissance édifié entre 1565 et 1588 est d'une grande homogénéité, mais surtout l'élégant clocher roman de deux étages du second quart du XIIe siècle peut être considéré comme un chef-d'œuvre. Les grandes arcades de la nef, de la seconde moitié du XIIe siècle, sont un bel exemple du gothique primitif d'Île-de-France.
