Lieu d'accueil et d'information, le cimetière américain Oise-Aisne, second en importance des cimetières de la Première Guerre Mondiale en Europe, contient 6.012 pierres tombales alignées en longues rangées symétriques dans un cadre verdoyant et paysager. Ce lieu souligne les terribles combats qui eurent lieu dans cette région et qui firent partie de la grande offensive franco-américaine lancée le 18 Juillet 1918. Environ 310.000 américains servirent au coté des alliés et subirent des pertes s'élevant à plus de 67.000 hommes.
