Talavera de la Reina è un comune spagnolo di 88.674 abitanti situato nella comunità autonoma di Castiglia-La Mancia.
Fondata dai Romani sulla riva destra del Tago con il nome di Caesarobriga, fu conquistata dagli Arabi nel secolo VIII e divenne un possedimento del re di Castiglia Alfonso VI dal 1083.
