In 2020 kwam ingenieur Ronald Van Ham tot een aantal opvallende vaststellingen over de historische structuur van oude wegen en grondindelingen in Lennik. Volgens van Ham lagen de Romeinen aan de oorzaak van de indeling. Meer specifiek een zekere Cicero die in Kester de Noël moest organiseren in de eerste eeuw voor Christus. De markt was het centrum of forum waar 80 gelijke stukken grond rond lagen. Elk stuk grond had een exacte oppervlakte van 50,5 hectaren. Dat is de maat van 1 centuria en is voldoende om van te leven. Caesar zou de opdracht gegeven hebben om dat te schenken aan verdienstige soldaten. Op elk van die centuria stond volgens Van Ham een Romeinse hoeve waar later een vierkantshoeve Weerd op geplaatst. De wegen naar die 80 gelijke stukken vertrokken allemaal aan het noorden van het forum. En dat punt is het geografisch zwaartepunt van het gehele grondgebied. Een zeer merkwaardig toeval, vindt Van Ham als je dat niet kan toeschrijvenen aan de Romeinen.
