Jette is een plaats en gemeente in het Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest. De gemeente telt ruim 52.000 inwoners.Jette heeft in de eerste plaats een woonfunctie; er wonen voornamelijk gezinnen. Het noordwestelijke stuk van de gemeente is duidelijk minder verstedelijkt en groener dan het centrum met het Koningin Astridplein, ook wel 'Het Spiegelplein' genoemd.
