Op de plaats waar een losweg uitkomt op de Romershovenstraat staat in de hoek van een perceel een oude hoekboom. Het is een zomereik met een knothoogte van 3 meter. Deze snoeivorm illustreert nog een traditioneel beheer in functie van het produceren van brand-, constructie- en geriefhout en het gebruik in functie van loofvoedering.
