Het Gotthardmassief is een gebergtemassief dat op de grens van de Zwitserse kantons Graubünden, Tessin, Wallis en Uri ligt. Het dankt zijn naam aan de Gotthardpas.
Door het Gotthardmassief voeren in noord-zuidelijke richting de Gotthardpas en de Lukmanierpas . Van oost naar west wordt het doorkruist door de Oberalppas , het Urserental en de Furkapas . In het noorden wordt het Gotthardmassief begrensd door het Gadmental, de Sustenpas , het Meiental en het Maderanertal. In het westen grenst het aan de Grimselpas welke het scheidt van het Aare-massief, en de Nufenenpas . In het zuiden wordt de grens gevormd door het Bedrettotal en het Leventina terwijl de oostelijke grens door de San Bernardinopas wordt gevormd.
