De Kathedraal van Manchester is een middeleeuwse kathedraal die zich bevindt in het centrum van Manchester, Engeland. De kathedraal is de zetel van de bisschop van Manchester. Hoewel de kathedraal een bouwperiode heeft van meer dan 600 jaar, staat zijn gotische stijl centraal.
De eerste christelijke kerk, waar nu de kathedraal staat, werd gebouwd in de 8e eeuw. Het bewijs hiervoor is de steen die werd gevonden uit die tijd waarop staat in het Oudengels:Into thy hands, O Lord, I commend my spirit. De constructie van de huidige kathedraal begon in 1215. De familie Grelley was zeer betrokken bij de bouw en financiering van de kerk en bouwden de eerste kanselarij: St. Nicholas Chancery. In de 14e eeuw volgden meerdere families de Grelley's op, in de eeuwen daarna werd er veel bijgebouwd. De kerk kreeg een gotische stijl. In 1421-1422 werd de kerk een kapittelkerk in opdracht van Hendrik VIII van Engeland met eigen kanunniken. In 1547 werd deze gesloten.
