Paddington, officieel bekend als London Paddington, is een van de Londense "main line stations". Het werd in 1854 gebouwd voor de toenmalige Great Western Railway, naar een ontwerp van Isambard Kingdom Brunel en Matthew Digby Wyatt. Het station is het vertrekpunt voor bestemmingen in het westen en zuidwesten van Engeland en Zuid-Wales als Swindon, Bristol, Bath, Newport, Cardiff en Swansea via de Great Western Main Line, met een andere hoofdlijn naar Taunton, Exeter, Plymouth, Truro en Penzance. Vanuit Londen, met de train bestemming Swansea en aansluiten met andere treinen naar Fishguard en via de Stena Line veerboot naar Rosslare, dan gaan en vervolgens op de trein naar Dublin.
Paddington is tevens een station van de metro van Londen aan de Bakerloo Line, Circle Line, District Line en aan de Hammersmith & City Line.
