Net buiten Losser, tegen de Duitse grens, ligt het prachtige natuurgebied De Oelermars. Een natuurgebied compleet met een aangelegd plas- en drasgebied, een speciale nestwand voor oeverzwaluwen en een observatiehut. Vlakbij het terrein staat een grote observatietoren met een wijds uitzicht tot ver in Twente en Duitsland. In de afgelopen jaren zijn in dit gebied een kleine tweehonderd vogelsoorten in gespot.
