De Ume älv of Umeälven is een van de grootste rivieren in het noorden van Zweden. De rivier is ongeveer 467 kilometer lang en stroomt van haar bron Överuman naar het zuidoosten, waar het bij nabij de stad Umeå) in de Botnische Golf stroomt. De grootste zijrivier is Vindelälven. De rivier ontspringt in het bergmassief Vindelfjällen.
