De United States Air Force Academy is een militaire school in de Verenigde Staten die officieren opleidt om dienst te nemen in de luchtmacht. De school ligt in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Afgestudeerden krijgen een Bachelor in de wetenschappen en de rang van Tweede Luitenant bij de luchtmacht.
De academie werd gesticht in 1954 hoewel er al werd over gepraat sinds de jaren 1940. In juli 1955 kwam de eerste klas aan op een tijdelijke basis, aangezien het werk aan de definitieve locatie nog niet voltooid was. In 1976 mochten vrouwen eindelijk les volgen aan de academie. De academie werd professioneler naarmate de jaren vorderden. Recent kwam ze in het Amerikaanse nieuws toen er enkele schandalen uitbraken.
