El ducat d'Àustria fou una jurisdicció feudal del Sacre Imperi Romanogermànic, creat el 1156 en el que fins aleshores era la Marca Oriental de Baviera. El privilegius minus concedit a la fundació, establia diversos beneficis pel territori. El marcgravi Enric II Jasomirgott va adoptar des de 1157 el títol de duc. Va tenir per successor al seu fill Leopold V.
