Bonica vista sobre la vall del Salm, que desemboca una mica més enllà a l'Amblève a Trois-Ponts.
El Salm neix a Commanster a l'antiga frontera prussiana-belga, que seguia aquí la conca hidrogràfica, i desemboca a l'Amblève a l'ajuntament de Trois-Ponts. La zona de naixement està per sobre dels 500 metres, la desembocadura a 260 metres sobre el mar.
