La Vila Joiosa, anomenada normalment la Vila, és un municipi del País Valencià situat en la costa de la Marina Baixa, 32 quilòmetres al nord-est de la ciutat d'Alacant. Té 35.199 habitants i és la capital de la comarca i cap de partit judicial. Recentment s'ha descobert que la vila s'alça sota l'antiga població ibèrica i ciutat romana d'Alonis o Al·ló.
