L'Ametlla de Mar, anomenada la Cala pels seus habitants , és un municipi de Catalunya pertanyent a la comarca del Baix Ebre.
Està situat al bell mig del golf de Sant Jordi, al sud de Catalunya. Més concretament, es troba entre la zona costanera del Cap de Terme, al nord; i del barranc de l'Àliga, al sud. Limita al sud amb el terme del Perelló; al nord-oest, amb el de Tivissa ; i al nord-est, amb el de Vandellòs i l'Hospitalet de l'Infant .
