El monestir de Santa Maria de Ripoll és un edifici conegut com a monestir benedictí a la localitat catalana de Ripoll. El monestir, fundat cap a l'any 880 pel comte Guifré el Pelós –segurament sobre un de l'època visigòtica destruït pels àrabs–, va esdevenir lloc d'enterrament dels comtes de Barcelona i Besalú i un centre cultural de scriptorium molt important de la Catalunya medieval, amb una projecció a l'alçada d'altres abadies europees d'aquest període com Saint-Denis, Fleury o Montecassino. Va ser declarat bé cultural d'interès nacional l'any 1931.
