El Palau de la Virreina és un palau uns metres reculat a l'alineació actual de la Rambla del cantó del Raval de Barcelona. És considerat un dels millors exponents del barroc aplicat a l'arquitectura civil de Catalunya. Les dependències i el pati serveixen de marc a importants exposicions temporals i és la seu de l'àrea de cultura de l'Ajuntament. En el seu interior s'hi poden veure en exposició permanent els Gegants de la Ciutat de Barcelona i l'Àliga de Barcelona. És una obra declarada bé cultural d'interès nacional.
