L'església de Sant Serni de Coborriu es troba a l'entitat de població de Coborriu de Bellver pertanyent al municipi de Bellver de Cerdanya a la comarca de la Baixa Cerdanya. És un monument inclòs en l'Inventari del Patrimoni Arquitectònic de Catalunya
Documentada a la fi del segle X a l'acta de consagració de la Seu d'Urgell. L'església va ser consagrada sota l'advocació de sant Serni pel bisbe d'Urgell Pere Berenguer l'any 1137, qui nou anys més tard va fer l'acta de Dotàlia, constituint-la al capdavant de parròquia i dotant-la amb l'església de Vilavedra. Amb motiu d'una plaga de pesta es va perdre aquesta darrera població. El 1198 va ser saquejada pels albigesos que es van emportar tres llibres, robes del rector i tots els ornaments.
