La Torre de l'Homenatge és el monument en millor estat del castell nassarita. Es troba a la part més alta del Penyó de Zahara de la Sierra, a 605 metres sobre el nivell del mar.
La torre és pràcticament quadrada (12 x 12,60 metres). Consta de dues plantes i una terrassa al terrat . L'interior d'ambdues plantes es divideix en quatre compartiments cadascun, a través d'arcs esglaons que s'entrecreuen formant aquests espais, que al seu torn estan coberts per sostres de volta.
Sota la Torre de l'Homenatge s'ha descobert una cisterna islàmica.
La torre es pot pujar i ofereix una vista de Zahara, l'embassament i alguns pobles propers, com Algodonales i Olvera.
